3D printable mask

Description

This is a digital 3D printable model of Denji’s devil form head from the manga and anime Chainsaw Man.

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed (STL) and files that are not cut into smaller pieces (OBJ) All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

UPDATE – MOVABLE JAW

This update features a completely re-modeled version.
– The face cover  is now more accurate to the anime version (manga version can still be printed and will fit the static version.)

– The upper handle has an upgraded attachment.

– Both jaw sections are now color-divided so you can print the helmet in the right filament. No painting needed!

– The lower jaw features holes for a rubber cord and a snap-on hinge. This allows you to create a movable jaw!

– All the pieces (STL and OBJ) are scaled to the same size which fits the average-sized heads as you can see in our photos.

SIZE
At 100% scale the model’s dimensions are approximately:
Width 267 mm
Length 973 mm
Height 426 mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size the model will print well. Measure before printing and scale each piece accordingly to your head size.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.2 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.
This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.

Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

Do you like the model and don’t have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.

Hello! Yes, it is. And you can scale both anyway in your 3D viewing / slicing program.

I’m interested in printing with the og ender 3 printer but the build volume is 220x220x250 do all parts scaled to the appropriate size fit within this volume?

i am confused on when you say the models are placed on the buildplate as you would place them, does this mean they’re individually optimized or is there an optimized way to place multiple parts on the same buildplate?

Support

It means that each piece is rotated the way we consider to be the best for printing.

Are you gonna make a pochita devil version from chapter 83?

We’ll think about it! 🙂

Hi, are the anime designs (with the movable jaw) for the faceplate compatible with the static build?

Support
1 year 1 month ago

Hi! No, the new anime design orange cover has a different shape and therefore fits only the the movable jaw. You could probably glue it in in some way, but the pins for joining won’t fit perfectly into the holes.

Can I ask which specific material and color choice filament you went with? The orange looks perfect!

Support

Thank you! We’re using PLA and the orange is PLA Extrafill “Orange Orange” by Fillamentum

hi, i printed and assembled the whole head but the saw is so heavy that it keeps sliding forward. did you add any straps/foam padding to keep it upright?

Support
11 months 15 days ago

We printed our saw with 5% infill so it wasn’t too bad, but not suitable for wearing at a convention. If you want to move around while wearing it, you might want to add weights to the back of the helmet, opt for a different material for the saw body or print it shorter.

hi, I want to know if it is possible to merge the parts of the manga version with the mobile ones, great job

Support

The connection pegs won’t fit perfectly if you marge the two version. With your own creativity and larger amount of glue you could probably merge them though.

How are the jaw side “chains” supposed to snap in the helmet if it’s made with a rigid material?

Support
7 months 28 days ago

Use considerably large amount of force, push it inside. It works as a joint.

hi, I was wondering if you could provide a link to the cord you used for the jaw?

Support

Hi! It was a basic cord from the local craft store. Any cord will do!
