3D printable helmet

Description

This is a digital 3D printable model of Bombgirl’s wearable head and neckpiece from the anime and manga Chainsaw Man.

The files come in 3 versions:

  • STL cut for 200x200mm 3D printers
  • STL cut for larger printers
  • Uncut OBJ in case you wish to slice it yourself

The 3D model features 5mm magnet slots and 2 versions of the “nose” and a neckpiece.

The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and files that are not cut into smaller pieces. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time.

SIZE
At 100% scale, the model’s dimensions are approximately:
Width 255 mm
Length 454 mm
Height 335 mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size, the model will print well.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.2 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.

ASSEMBLY

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.
This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc…

Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

Do you like the model and don’t have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.

I have a 180×180 mm printer and notice it says 200×200. Will it work or no?

Hi! Some pieces might be too large for your printer, but that means you simply have to cut them in your slicer and glue them afterward. It’s quite easy and you’ll find plenty of tutorial online, showing how to cut models in your favorite slicer.

Hi!
The model look sooo cool!
How much material would it use in total? Counting supports, infill, etc.
It doesn’t look like a lot, but since you’ve printed it, you’ll know best 🙂
Thanks!

Hi! I think it was just one spool, so less then 1 kg of PLA. 🙂
