Description
This is a digital 3D printable model of a part of the bull helmet from Stargate. We created it as our own design for the Jaffa warriors loyal to the System Lord Cronus.
This model is a part of a wearable costume – a bull head, which can be attached to our helmet base. ( Same helmet base as our Abubis or Horus.)
This download contains:
- bull head
- face cover
- tail cover
Files contain pieces of the cat head ready to be 3D printed on 200x200mm printers (STL – cut into smaller pieces) and also uncut OBJ file. You need helmet base for the complete helmet.
If you want to make the helmet move autonomously and look at people walking by with glowing lights you can download our electronics files here. This is unfortunately not a project for beginners, Arduino, programming knowledge, and work with electronics is required.
SCALE
At 100% scale the Bastet cat head dimensions are:
Width approx. 235 mm
Length approx. 365 mm
Height approx. 180 mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size the model will print well.
We create our 3D models on our average-sized body template. Read about the sizing and how to scale the models to fit your body here.
PRINTER SETTINGS
We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.15 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
We recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the tall parts. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
