Description
Ragnaros lamp figure – 3D PRINT MODEL
You can simply print this model or add electronics and use it as a lamp. If you want to sell the printed parts we don’t mind that but you have to use photos of your own prints and link to where people can get the digital files.
In this video you can see how it was put together with IKEA LED candle lights but you can simply put an LED in base base and it will glow nicely as well (the dark orange pictures above)
Ragnaros the Firelord is an incredibly powerful Elemental Lord and master of all fire elementals.
These are digital files only. This model is a high detailed figure inspired by the powerful Ragnaros from World of Warcraft and model is meant to be post-processed. Model is designed for implementing led light.
Files contain pieces of the figure ready to be 3D printed and complete figure files that are not cut into smaller pieces. In the pictures it is printed from Fillamentum PLA filaments Crystal Clear and Vertigo Galaxy.
SCALE
At 100% scale the figure’s dimensions are:
Width approx. 214 mm
Length approx. 155 mm
Height approx. 200 mm
PRINTER SETTINGS
We recommend a layer height of 0.2 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the model shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

I’m currently about 60% of progress on printing this awesome model, so far the parts are relatively easy to print (most require raft and some support) but every part is manifold and high polygon count. It looks amazing so far and I highly recommend it. The filenames are explicit for most of the parts except for the arms (they are named body-part-1, 2, 3 and 4) the rest are self explanatory. For 6 dollars is totally worth it! You will not regret the purchase

So first of all, i love the idea of a Ragnaros Lamp and just had to build one myself, when i got the files and threw them into cura to set up for printing some things stood out, please take this as constructive critisisim.
1. There is no sugested list of parts that should be Transparent and wich should not be, so a lot of looking at your yt-video and figuring out what was what is required.
2. In the ” recommended for printing” folder, some files ( horns for example) are missing. No biggy since they were in the STL files but still kinda botherd me.
3. As mentioned before the file naming, most of them are verry easy to figure out, parts : Body_Part1-6 were kind of bothersome to figure out tho.
4. Kinda going back to 1, but an instruction picture with part numbers ( both for Assembly and figuring out wich is transparent) would help so so much , atleast in my opinion, just explode lamp, put Numbers on it, put number infront of part, done.
Other than that, a great idea for a project, once i’m done with my own i’ll be sure to put up some photos of my verry own Ragnaros.
So long keep up the good work and ” BY FIRE BE PURGED!!!”

Thank you for the feedback. I will add the horns to the right folder and I think the picture with the parts is a good Idea as well 🙂
