Malenia, blade of Miquella

Description

This is a digital 3D printable and wearable model of Melania’s prosthetic Arm from the critically acclaimed video game Elden Ring.

Melania’s war prosthesis symbolized her victories.

Some claim to have seen wings when the weapon was raised aloft;

wings of fierce determination that have never known defeat.”

The download contains all the parts of the arm including the blade – The model is mainly meant to be printed on an FDM printer. Files are both in STL and OBJ format (cut and uncut versions).

Please note that the model is by default printed in a scale fit for a woman around 167 cm and will need to be scaled accordingly to your height and size, especially the fingers.
The blade had been hollowed with a 3.4 mm diameter hole so you can insert a 3 mm carbon or a fiberglass rod to join the blade, due to the curvature of the blade you will need to insert two separate rods (57 and 32cm). You can choose to either print a version of the forearm that does not have a mechanism with cover connectors, and wield the blade in your hand, or you can print out the default version of the forearm and either attach (using magnets or glue) a normal cover or a cover with a mechanism that you can connect the blade to.

SIZE
At 100% scale the model’s dimensions are approximately:

Prosthesis/Blade
Width: 548/ 14 mm
Length: 576/ 108 mm
Height: 186/ 46 mm

You can scale the model as you wish. But at a much smaller size, we can’t guarantee that it will print and fit well. Our recommendation is to print just a piece of the thinnest part (tutorial here) and do a fitting test before printing all the parts. You may need to scale the model up as it is designed to be approximately the same size as an arm.

We would use these settings for an FDM print:
Layer height 0.15 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°

This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.
Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
