3D printable blade

Description

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker is the legendary sword once wielded by Thunderaan, Prince of Air. This 3D printable model is a sword replica from World of Warcraft.

Files contain pieces of the blade ready to be 3D printed on 200mm printer beds. The files feature 2 versions of the blade – scratched and smooth.
The pieces come with a hole for three 4 mm diameter steel rods or wooden dowels (approx. 50 cm, 42,5 cm, 44 cm)

 SCALE
At 100% scale, the model’s dimensions are approximate:
Width 209 mm
Length 52 mm
Height 1100 mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size, the model will print well.

PRINTER SETTINGS

We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.15 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.

Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.
This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.

Do you like the model and don’t have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
