Description
SpongeBob filament dust filter
Dust filters are especially useful if you have some dusty spools of filament that you want to print from because it protects your nozzle from clogging.
This model prints without supports (even the nose was printed without supports at 0.2 mm layer height)
You need about 27mm of 1.75 mm filament to join it together and a piece of sponge to put inside
It has a 9 mm hole at the bottom if you have a knob on your printer that it would have to go over (like the Prusa MK3S)
You can follow this instructables guide for more information and some SpongeBob pictures 🙂
Files contain 2 halves of SpongeBob ready to print
If you want it to work on a 2.85 mm filament (or 3 mm, like a caveman 😀 ) 120% scale should be big enough but then you would have to find something to joint he two halves.
SCALE
Works best at 100% scale for 1.75 mm filament printer.
PRINTER SETTINGS
This model doesn’t need supports. The one you see on the pictures was printed from Fillamentum PLA Extrafill Traffic Yellow.
