The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 250 mm print bed (STL) and files that are not cut into smaller pieces (STL/OBJ).
The armor features incredibly detailed texture and battle damage. It’s been tested on Prusa MK3s printer, using 0.15 layer height. To connect the pieces, use super-glue and our connection pegs (included in the download.) There are 4 magnet slots prepared for inserting 10 mm diameter 3 mm height magnets.
SIZE
We create our 3D models on our average-sized body template. At 100% scale, the power armor is designed to look the best on a 185 cm tall male body, leaving enough space for padding.
Read about the sizing and how to scale the models to fit your body here.
You can scale the model as you wish, but we can’t guarantee that the model will print well at a much smaller size.
3D PRINTING SETTINGS
We use these settings for most of our prints:
- Layer height 0.15 mm
- Infill 5%
- Supports 40°
- We use a 10 mm brim for tall parts with a small base for better bed adhesion.
Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.
This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc. We use hex pegs (included in the files) that will help you connect the cut pieces of the model.
Do you like the model and don’t have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
