Theoretically, it should bend easier if you use a more flexible filament like PETG but PLA worked just fine for me. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer. The joint of the two halves is available in two versions. One with an actual hinge and one that only folds like the other parts but because it bends a full 180° it's weaker than the other parts (it broke twice out of ten prints). The side with 4 knuckles on the hinge belongs to the top part of the easter egg pokeball and the bottom belongs to the 3 knuckle part. Also, you should always connect the back pin first, so it’s easier for you to assemble.
