🛠️ Assembly
The book nook uses a standard IKEA STRIMSÄV LED spotlight, which slides into a rail on the back. The button remains accessible, so you can move the light around and turn it on or off simply by pressing the whole book nook against the wall.
Simply slot the printed sheets into the box. Different placements create different lighting effects, so feel free to experiment.
These two Hollow Knight scenes are bundled together, but they’re also part of a larger family of book nooks that all share the same box format. We made them as part of our team Christmas activity, and they’re all compatible, so you can mix and match if you feel like blending a few universes together.
No printer?
No problem. Any local 3D printing service should be able to print it for you.
A Bit About Us
This is a fan-made project by 3Demon, a small team based in Prague. We’ve been modeling and 3D printing for over a decade, mostly cosplay props, but sometimes we like to slow things down and make smaller, quieter pieces like this.
If you end up printing it, we hope it brings a bit of Hallownest’s calm to your bookshelf 🙂
