Description
This is a digital 3D printable model of Jinx’s Monkey Bomb from Netflix’s Arcane: League of Legend series.
We have provided a 3D printable spring to join the head to the body but it will work and look better if you use an actual metal spring. The spring should be long enough to provide a jiggle between the body and head (5 to 6cm) and diameter of approximately 1 cm. The hexgem and body has been hollowed out so you can insert a light source for a cooler effect.
The download contains pieces of the model ready to be 3D printed on a 200 mm print bed and files that are not cut into smaller pieces. All cut parts are placed on the print bed as we would print them to save you time. Most of the parts have pins to align the parts easily. The hexgem does not have one and you can either glue it in place or use strings to hold it in place like in the series.
You can read an instructable on how to assemble the Monkey Bomb here.
SIZE
At 100% scale the model’s dimensions are approximately:
Width 156mm
Length 102mm
Height 146mm
You can scale the model as you wish but we can’t guarantee that at a much smaller size the model will print well.
3D PRINTING SETTINGS
We use these settings for most of our prints:
Layer height 0.2 mm
Infill 15%
Supports 45°
For parts that are tall but have a small base, we use a 10 mm brim for better bed adhesion.
We try to make the models in a way that uses as little support material as possible.
This model is meant to be post-processed after printing. This can be gluing, sanding, painting, etc.
Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
