Description

Mask of Darth Nihilus – DIGITAL 3D PRINT MODEL

The mask of Darth Nihilus was one of the armor that Sith Lord Darth Nihilus had bound to himself using the Force to retain a semblance of a physical form.

This model is a wearable mask. The mask is meant to be post-processed.

Files contain pieces of the mask ready to be 3D printed and complete mask files, that are not cut into smaller pieces.

SCALE

At 100% scale the mask’s dimensions are:

Width approx. 154 mm

Thickness approx. 62 mm

Height approx. 187 mm

You can scale the model according to your head measurements.

PRINTER SETTINGS

As the mask is quite big, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.1 to 0.2 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to the model shell parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

How is the mask secured to the head?

This is a 3D printable file, after you print it, you can try various ways of attaching it and choose which you like the best. I would suggest attaching it to a headband.
